MICKY Morris Racing Team's Iwan Morton came out on top in the Crocodile 8 multi-terrain race.

Raced around Badnage Wood in Tillington, the main race featured 301 runners, while 165 children took part in the junior and key stage one and two races.

Morris claimed top spot in 57:24, closely followed by Tim Iveson of Builth and District Runners in 58:47.

The first woman home was Vikki Thompson of Hadlon Trail Runners, who completed the course in 1:05.36, with Angela Jones (Fairwater Runners) closely following behind in 1:08.05.

Following the race, a party was held at the Bell Inn, where local band Rubble played.
