Cheapest adult ticket at Hereford United more expensive than at Newcastle United

WATCHING Hereford United is more expensive than going to a Newcastle United game, a BBC survey has revealed.

The cheapest adult match day ticket at Edgar Street is £16, whereas you can watch a game at St James' Park in the Premiership for just £15.

Only at Alfreton (£18) can you expect to spend more money on a ticket in the Blue Sqaue Bet Premier League than you would at Hereford.

The survey also worked out what the cheapest day out for an average fan would be, based on buying a ticket, a programme, a pie and a cup of tea.

Hereford United's was £22.20 (the seventh most expensive in the Blue Square Bet Premier League.)

However, the cheapest season ticket that Bulls' fans could have got this season (£234) is the 15th cheapest in the league.
