Dug-out record for Herefordshire's Leominster Town Football Club?

LEOMINSTER Town may have created a new record for the number of people squeezed into a football dug-out.

Vice-chairman Bill Tanner said a violent hailstorm forced the players off the pitch in Saturday’s home match.

Town squeezed 10 outfield players, two substitutes, three match officials, three club officials, and at least three-quarters of a spectator into the home dug-out.

Town goalkeeper Jim Panniers, however, weathered the storm to remain between his posts.
