Fine Hereford performances in Welsh u-15 League Plate final

HEREFORD and County athletes produced some excellent results in the Welsh U15 League Plate final.

Although they were few in numbers, the young athletes fought hard and eventually finished fifth overall. George Hudson was the runaway winner of the U15 boys 1,500 metres, Ella Morgan an impressive winner with a PB of 26.39 in the U13 girls javelin and Harry Bowan a double winner in the U15 boys shot and discus. Other winners on the day were William Thorne, Katie Harman and Connor Tracey.

The plate final was won by Bridgend AC with Brecon AC second.

The cup final was won by Swansea AC.
