WELLINGTON are up to 10th in the West Midlands League Premier Division after a good fightback against Bustleholme.

The visitors took the lead after 15 minutes when goalkeeper Craig Hill dropped a cross to leave a tap-in.

The villagers were back on level terms when Tom McLean, back from a short stay at Bartestree, converted a penalty.

Five minutes from time, a corner was fumbled and Josh James was on hand to fire into the roof of the net from close range.

PEGASUS Juniors surrendered their unbeaten league record after going down in a game they dominated.

Simon Gwynne’s strong early run set up a chance for Cory Hyde who fired just over the angle. Hyde went close again moments later after good work by Sam Harrison.

Four minutes before the break, however, Anton John seized on a short back pass by Zac Brimble and rounded goalkeeper Mike Corbisier to net the decisive goal.

TOWN were two-up after five minutes and 3-2 down after 15 minutes as they shared the honours in an eight-goal West Midlands League Division One thriller.

Sam Pearson volleyed home before Ben Price claimed an early goal-of-the-season contender with his audacious 25-yard lob.

Steve Williams made it 3-3 but the home side led at the interval before Town salvaged a point when debutant Julio Mata set up Pearson to equalise.

l Jamie Welch struck four as Ledbury secured their second Division Two win in a week with a 7-1 win over Mahal Reserves. Sam Dixon, Dan Herbert and Tom Doyle scored for Town.

l Danny Moon’s superb 25-yard free-kick into the top corner after only five minutes gave Lads Club a great start in a 3-1 win at Malvern Rangers. Kiea Cowley and Arron Turner scored the other Lads Club goals.

l A strong second-half showing was not enough to grab a point as Bartestree went down 2-1 at leaders Gornal Athletic Reserves.
