Town take a break

Leominster Town take a near two week break from league action with one game postponed and another re-scheduled.

The Briarwood Boys already had this Saturday off with their game at Stone confirmed as cancelled yesterday (Thurs) to be played later in the season.

Today the club was told that Wem Town - who were headed to Leominster next Saturday - wanted the game played the following Wednesday instead - with the West Midlands Regional League agreeing to the switch.

The unscheduled break gives Leominster time to rally after a tough start to the season.

Town have taken just one point from four games on a run of three straight defeats that saw 16 goals conceded.
