Pegasus continue to fly high in the West Midlands League Premier Division

PEGASUS Juniors continued their excellent start to the West Midlands League Premier Division and made it three wins from three.

Two goals from Paul Allam ensured their latest success, a 2-1 home win over league leaders Black Country Rangers.

It was also a happy afternoon for Wellington who drew inspiration from their midweek FA Cup success over Highgate to win 3-1 at Bartley Green.

But Bromyard continue to find life tough and remain at the foot of the table after going down 4-1 at home to Lye Town.

Leominster Town, who are shipping goals for fun, at least scored three of their own at home to St Martin’s but it was not enough to prevent a 5-3 reverse.

In Division 2, county bragging rights went to Bartestree who notched their second win in three games with a 2-1 success at Ledbury Town.

In the Midland Alliance, Westfields were also on the winning trail after winning a seven-goal thriller at Tividale on Friday night, Thomas, Jones, Loughman and Jackson on target in a 4-3 success.
