Herefordshire Ladies beat Devon at Ardagh Bowling Club in Bristol

HEREFORDSHIRE Ladies led from the start when they played host to Devon at Ardagh Bowling Club in Bristol.
Herefordshire had already opened up a gap of 42 shots by the 15th end but it was a tough battle and the lead was reduced to 32 shots by the 18th end before a final score of 132-108 gave them a win by 24 shots and maximum points.
The winning rink was Barbara Griffiths (Skip, Brimfield), Brenda Havard (President, Weobley ), Jill Turberfield (Brimfield) and Thelma Watts (Leominster ) with a total score of 28-13.
