Herefordshire Ladies lose in Wiltshire despite brave fight-back

HEREFORDSHIRE Ladies fought back from a large early deficit but still went down by nine shots when they took on Wiltshire Ladies at Stratton Churchway.
The game was played in a keen competitive spirit on a challenging green.
Wiltshire roared ahead to give them a significant lead of 25 shots at 10 ends.
But Herefordshire responded well to finish only nine shots down at the end of the game 100–109.
The winning rink was skipped by Barbara Griffiths (Brimfield), Jenny Murray (Ross ), Joan Jones (Eastnor ) and Thelma Watts (Leominster ) with a score of 19–10.
