Former Port Vale and York City boss Martin Foyle appointed new manager of Hereford United Football Club

FORMER Port Vale and York City boss Martin Foyle is the new Hereford United manager.

Foyle, 49, is being unveiled as the new United boss at Edgar Street this morning.

Foyle has previously been assistant manager and caretaker manager at Wrexham, first-team coach at Bristol Rovers and boss at Northwich Victoria.

United chairman David Keyte said: “We had been strongly advised by many people to appoint a manager who has Conference experience.”
