FORMER Greyhound rugby player Izzy Noel-Smith scored her maiden international try in England Women’s 47-0 win over Scotland in their opening RBS Six Nations clash.
Noel-Smith, who used to live in Much Dewchurch, rounded off the evening with a last-minute score in England’s nine-try romp on Sunday at Lasswade RFC.
She came on as a replacement and joined another ex-Greyhound player, prop Laura Keates, who also came off the bench for the defending champions.
Keates, who now plays for Worcester, and Bristol’s Noel-Smith have been given starting places for England’s second Six Nations match against Italy this Sunday.
The match against Italy kicks off at 2pm at the Centro Sportivo in Parabiago, Milan.
