A NEAR capacity crowd of 257 watched Great Britain's Blind football team draw 0-0 with European champions France in Hereford today (Saturday).
Tony Larkin's team missed two first-half penalties and also struck a post in an action-packed match at thePoint4.
But the hosts' sighted goalkeeper Lewis Skyers, from Ledbury, made about four excellent saves as France dominated the second half.
Dan English and skipper Dave Clarke missed first-half spot-kicks for GB and Clarke also rattled a post.
Darren Harris also went close for Larkin's team while Robin Williams put in an energetic display.
Great Britain are due to play France at thePoint4 tomorrow (Sunday) at 10am and tickets are still available.
