Snowy weather plays havoc with Herefordshire sporting programme

BAD weather has seriously disrupted the Saturday afternoon sporting programme.

Hereford United's match at Gillingham and Luctonians' home National 2 North clash with Sheffield Tigers fell victim to the frost yesterday.

And, with snow falling in the city and more forecast, Westfields' home Midland Alliance match with Coleshill and all of Hereford Hockey Club's home fixtures have been called off.

Hereford RFC's scheduled visit to South Leicester is not taking place and neither is Pegasus Juniors' trip to Dudley Town.

Westfields are, however, going to be able to keep their fitness topped up with a friendly against Ludlow Town at the Shropshire Club's Three G pitch at their SBS Stadium.
