HEREFORD Judo Club have been awarded the Bronze Clubmark by Sport England.

Clubmark recognises and accredits clubs that are committed to provide a safe, effective, child-friendly environment.

British Judo Association and Olympic Judo Association chairman Densign White presented the award and gave a demonstration on the mat for members.

Hereford Judo Club, which has been running for 53 years and is always ready to welcome new members aged eight and upwards, meets at Hereford Leisure Centre on Friday evenings from 6.30pm to 8pm.
