Triple triumph for Tom Mitchell and Aimee Parry in the AWDC Safari Championship

TOM Mitchell (driver) from Wormelow and Aimee Parry (co-driver) from Preston on Wye, have won their class at Millbank Wood, Sevenoaks in the AWDC (All Wheel Drive Club) Safari Championship in their 4x4 Mitsubishi Shogun .

It was a triple triumph for the 17-year-old duo, who have now won three events in a row.

The event was extremely challenging in the wet and muddy conditions and the five-mile multisurface course included tarmac, gravel, and steep, narrow forest track.

The next event is at Sweet Lamb, near Llangurig in Mid Wales.
