Pontrilas hosts last round of title battle

ONE of the largest motocross prize funds in Europe will be contested this weekend at Howton Court, Pontrilas.

The Herefordshire circuit will play host to the seventh and final round of the Wulfsport British Masters Championship.

And with competition still open in all the classes, the weekend is guaranteed to provide some fast and furious competition.

More than 300 riders, ranging from young talent to the country’s top professionals, will compete.

The riders will tackle numerous corners, bumps and jumps as they negotiate an enclosed dirt track.

There will be a total of 32 races of 13-25 minutes each over the course on Saturday and Sunday.

The first race will be underway at 10am on Saturday.

The event is being filmed by the Blood, Sweat and Gears team, and is to be shown on the Extreme channel.
