HONOURS were even in the big county rugby derby as Luctonians and Hereford battled out a 5-5 draw at Mortimer Park.

The other Herefordshire rugby sides had disappointing afternoons; Bromyard lost 39-15 at home to Claverdon, Ross went down 16-5 at home to Cirencester while Greyhound were battered 81-13 at Kingswood.

Richard Kear scored a hat-trick as Westfields maintained their winning form with a 5-2 success at Oadby.

And Pegasus Juniors gained a point from a 1-1 draw at Marlow United.

But there were defeats for all three of Herefordshire's West Midlands League Premier Division sides.

Wellington went down 3-2 at Bloxwich, Ledbury lost 2-1 at home to Heath Town Rangers and bottom-club Bromyard lost 3-1 at Oldbury.
