Abingdon Town 0 Pegasus Juniors 0.
THERE were few goal-scoring chances for either side as Pegasus picked up an away point in the Premier Division of the FTL Futbol Helllenic League.
Despite the lack of goal-mouth action, both sides contributed to an entertaining affair played on a tricky surface.
Pegasus created the best move of the first half when Chris Mortlock’s deep cross was headed wide by Anthony Robbins.
New signing Keith Jones then crossed for Simon Gwynne who guided the ball inches wide of the far goal post.
Abingdon almost opened the scoring when Andy Mowen’s clearance struck Mark Davies and ballooned to Liam Barson who blazed over.
Jones later outpaced the home defence and found newcomer Ryan Daw who shot straight at the home stopper.
