Biddulph Victoria 2 Westfields 3.

TWO goals from striker Daryl Addis kept Westfields on course for a top-six position in the Aspire Midland Alliance.

Westfields had early opportunities from Jamie Addis and the returning Jamie Edwards before Biddulph broke the deadlock.

Biddulph’s new signing Steve Brannan opened the scoring in the 30th minute after a goal-line clearance from Jamie Cuthbertson and a superb stop from Jamie Moore.

But Westfieds levelled within 10 minutes after Danny Moon sent Richard Kear clear and the striker bagged his seventh goal of the season.

Moore made a fine save and then Daryl Addis broke clear to put Westfields in front on the stroke of half time.

Moore pulled off another excellent stop to keep out the hosts and then, with 10 minutes left, Westfields extended their advantage.

Kear broke from the halfway line and cut through the heart of the home defence only to see his shot parried by Stuart Heeps.

However, the ball rebounded to Daryl Addis who slotted in his 25th goal of the campaign.

Biddulph fought back strongly and James Marrow reduced arrears with seven minutes remaining.
