Hereford RFC enjoyed a fine win on the road when they gained a narrow 18-16 success at Kettering.
But there was frustration for Luctonians when their scheduled home clash with Bedford was called off when the basement club were unable to raise a side.
Hapless Ledbury suffered another battering, 98-5 at Woodrush.
And things were not much better for Bromyard who went down 48-0 at neighbours Clee Hill.
Ross, whose form has picked up of late, won 19-13 at Bristol Saracens.
Westfields moved up to seventh place in the table with a 3-2 success at struggling Biddulph.
But Pegasus Juniors suffered a disappointing reverse when they crashed 3-0 at Oxford City Nomads.
Bottom-club Bromyard predictably went down 4-1 at home to leaders AFC Wulfrunians.
Wellington, however, would have expecte better than a 3-1 reverse at Darlaston, who are much nearer the wrong end of the table.
Ledbury Town, though, continued their decent form with a 2-1 success at Wolves Casuals.
