THE Zeds remain on top of Division 1 of the Hereford Snooker League after a 3-2 success against Military B.
There were good wins for Chris Richards and Steve Cousins after Carl Carpenter had taken the opener.
Reds remain second despite being whitewashed by Farmers A, Shaun Preece completed breaks of 31 and 24.
Miller Boys closed the gap with a 3-2 win against P Shed X, Stuart Roberts with a 73 break.
Police A edged their local derby with Farmers C 3-2, Allen Rea with a 28 break in his win.
P Shed M got the same result against Flukey Few, Blackie Smith and Paul Breakwell in good form.
In Division 2 leaders Legionares suffered a rare defeat, going down 3-2 to second-placed P Shed Y. Rich Wellings took the decider after the first four frames were shared.
Railway put themselves back in contention with a 4-1 success against clubmates the Sidings, Alan Silcox avoiding the whitewash.
P Shed O defeated Farmers B 4-1. Tony Small won on his debut, with Percy Fitzgerald the only farming success.
Fowlers edged out Little & Large with Shaun Browning in good form while Herodians won a close match at P Shed Z. Richard Greenow got the all-important third point.
