Bromyard Town 0 Wellington 6.
RYAN Dawe scored his maiden hat-trick for Wellington who demolished their lowly Herefordshire rivals in the Premier Division of the West Midlands League.
Andy Price bagged a brace and Matt Williams also scored for the villagers who could have won by a bigger margin.
Wellington took the lead in the fifth minute when Matt Williams beat a defender and passed to Dawe who side footed the ball into the net.
Dawe soon headed home his second goal after Steve Brotherwood won the ball in midfield and Williams delivered a pin-point cross.
Wellington continued to create chances and Price headed in Bromyard’s third from a Williams corner.
Price also sent an overhead-kick narrowly wide, while Wellington’s returning goalkeeper Matt Eden tipped a rare Bromyard raid over the bar. With a 3-0 interval advantage, Wellington played with confidence after the break and Price picked up a ball from Wayne McNeil before scoring with a fierce drive.
Dawe then completed his first hat-trick for Wellington when he headed home a left-wing cross from Williams, Dawe helped to set up Wellington’s sixth goal after he collected a long ball from Craig Sewell and passed inside for Williams to slot home.
