STEVE Brotherwood missed a second-half penalty as Wellington crashed to defeat against the West Midlands League Premier Division high-fliers.
Andy Price fired wide for Wellington before Bloxwich took the lead after just eight minutes and the visitors added a second 20 minutes later.
Craig Sewell reduced the deficit just before the interval when he headed in a Matt Williams cross and then Wayne McNeil missed a chance early in the second period.
Bloxwich restored their two-goal advantage but Wellington should have hit back when they were awarded a penalty for handball. However, Brother-wood missed from the spot.
Bloxwich made Wellington pay with a fourth goal before Dale Withers had the final word for the home side with a header.
