ALTHOUGH most fans and media believed that Simon Johnson was responsible for Hereford's first goal at Shrewsbury on Saturday, the issue seems less than clear-cut.
Gary Hooper is also staking a claim to be credited with the goal and it appears the matter will have to go to 'arbitration'.
It was Hooper's shot which was beaten out by goalkeeper Glyn Garner to Johnson but the midfielder's effort may have hit Hooper on its way into the net.
"I'm claiming the first goal and I got the last touch," said the on-loan Southend striker.
"Even Simon Johnson admits that."
