HEREFORD can go within one point of Evo-Stik South leaders King’s Lynn Town with a win at home to Biggleswade Town today.

The Bulls have won their last two games since losing to Lynn and will be confident of gaining another three points against their mid-table opponents.

Biggleswade lie in 14th place in the division with 11 wins to their name, but have only won twice since the turn of the year and were beaten 2-1 at home to Basingstoke in their last league outing.

Hereford manager Pete Beadle may choose to stick with the same team that started in the 2-0 win over Bishop’s Stortford, although Dara O’Shea and Rob Purdie could come in contention after both came off the bench at half time.

Purdie partnered Jamie Bird in the centre of midfield and Beadle may choose to stick with the same pair.

Bird has been in a rich vein of form recently having scored three goals in his last four games and netted the opener against Bishop’s Stortford.

Pablo Haysham and Billy Murphy could both be fit enough after nursing injuries, although they will may have to settle for a place on the bench at best.
