BOTTOM club Hereford claimed a brilliant draw at De Cymru & The Marches 1 leaders Bridgend in the GoCrea8 Hockey League.
Stewart Goodarzi was the hero, netting a hat-trick in the 3-3 draw.
But Hereford could have claimed all three points as they led 3-1, with Bridgend equalising late on.
"We haven't had the best of seasons but I think we've taken the post points off Bridgend," said Hereford captain Kyle Drew.
"It's in our hands and I'm staying positive that we can hopefully get out of the relegation zone."
Second-placed Leominster meanwhile thrashed Cheltenham Thirds 9-0 thanks to hat-tricks from Josh Watkins and Nicko Evans.
Shaun Hill (2) and Steve Dobson were also on target.
Ross-on-Wye also claimed a fine win, beating Lansdown 5-2.
