HEREFORD are looking to extend the loan spell of full-back Dara' O'Shea.

The Irish teenager was unavailable to play for the Bulls against Redditch United due to flu and his loan period has now ended.

However, Hereford manager Pete Beadle says the club will be in talks with his parent club, West Bromwich Albion, to see if he can stay at Edgar Street for longer.

"We're in talks to extend it if we can but a lot will come down to them and him," said Beadle.

"I think they're happy for him to stay here and he wants to stay here and finish what he started.

"That will be an ongoing thing this week and hopefully it can be finished and done by next week."

Fellow defender Ryan Green also missed out today due to being unwell, but should be back in contention for Saturday's game at Slough.

Cameron Pring's loan spell from Bristol City ends on January 17.
