BROMYARD won their first game of the season after thrashing Manor Park 35-0 in Midlands 3 West (South).

A brilliant individual try from James Mitchell, which was converted by Bobby Ralph to give the hosts early confidence. Another two tries from James Gibbons and Tyler Brown before half-time gave them a big lead at the break.

Bromyard increased their in the second half as Mitchell added a second try before Ieuan Vale-Smith and Ralph completed the scoring.

Meanwhile, Ledbury’s game at Dunlop was abandoned after a home player was injured.

Ledbury captain Rob Ansomb said a Dunlop player hurt his neck as a result of a scrum and the referee decided to bring the game to a halt in the 57th minute.

Ledbury were leading 20-12 at the time and it's unclear at this stage whether the result will stand.

Greyhound continued their great start to the season by beating Chaddesley Corbett 45-31 to return to the top of the North Midlands Division 5.

They started well and led early through a George Gwynn try that was converted by Kevin Murphy.

Ross Foster’s creativity was on show for the Dogs as he set up tries for both Tom Donavito and Oli Paton.

Elliot Phillips scored a fourth try before the visitors scored one of their own, leaving the scores at half-time 26-10 to Greyhound.

Chaddesley started the second-half strongly but an interception from Liam Webdale saw him sprint from his own half to cross the line for a fifth Dogs try.

Greyhound then conceded two tries when they went down to 14 men after a high tackle.

Donavito and Webdale both scored their second tries of the day late on to confirm the win.

Ross-on-Wye, meanwhile, maintained their 100% start in Gloucester 2 by beating Minchinhampton 30-14 away from home.
