Newent Town could join the HFA County League Premier Division
A GLOUCESTERSHIRE club could join the Herefordshire FA County League after being thrown out of their league.
Newent Town have been expelled from the Gloucester Senior League after they reportedly didn't field their first team.
Now they want to join the Premier Division of the HFA League, despite having to play catch-up.
If they are allowed in, Newent will have to play all the teams with floodlights as away fixtures in midweek and will not be able to compete in any cups.
Member clubs have until 4pm today to let the HFA know what they think.
