SAM Pearson will lead the Kington Town charge in West Midlands (Regional) League Division One charge this season after being named captain.
The striker – who scored Hereford's first ever goal and was on the books at Evesham United – has linked up with the Yellows after leaving Pegasus Juniors.
Kington, who were allowed to stay in the division despite finishing second from bottom, start off with a home game against Wrens Nest on Saturday.
Bromyard Town will also be looking to kick on and begin their campaign with a trip to St Martins.
