HEREFORD Squash Tennis & Racketball member Tom Burton represented England in this year’s Men’s Over 55 Squash Masters Home International tournament.
Burton, who was winning his sixth cap, maintained his unbeaten record in internationals by winning both his matches 3-0 to help England to retain the Edinburgh Quaich trophy.
England had a fantastic tournament, winning all three matches against Wales, Ireland and Scotland 5-0.
“Having put an enormous amount of effort to get into the squad, I did not want to let the team down so put the hours in to get fit and prepared which certainly helped.
"I'm really proud to have represented my country.”
The event was held in Aberdenn and also included the men’s over 35 and 75s , as well as the ladies' over-55 team.
Trophies were presented by Scottish Squash chairman Blair McKenzie.
