EIGHT-MAN Knighton Town staged a stirring performance to draw 1-1 at title chasing Carno in Spar Mid-Wales League Division One.
Connor Bird had given the Radnor Robins an early lead from the penalty spot before Corin Jones was sent off.
Dewi Allen and Jamie Blythe also saw red after the break, with Carno only being able to score once through Colin Reynolds.
Radnor Valley also enjoyed an excellent result, drawing 1-1 at home with Berriew.
Callum Matthews put Radnor ahead in the first half but Rhys Stephens levelled from a corner ten minutes from time.
In Division Two, two second half goals from Alfie Stonefield saw Newbridge triumph 2-0 at Llansantffraid Village, while Kieran Lusher was Presteigne’s goalscorer in their 1-1 draw with Dyffryn Banw.
Talgarth Town maintained their five point lead at the top of Watson Financial Mid Wales League (South) with first half goals from Scott Pavey and Kyle O’Shea securing a 2-0 home success over a dogged Newcastle.
Hay St Marys Reserves, with games in hand, scored all their goals in the second half of a 5-0 win at St Harmon.
Rob McNamara struck twice, with Kevin Jones, Chris Preece and Stu Rees completing the rout.
