A LATE Joe Mayglothling goal saw Kington Town beat Wrens Nest 4-3 in a thrilling West Midlands (Regional) League Division One match at Mill Street.

Mayglothling found the top corner with a rasping effort three minutes from time to take Kington four points above the relegation zone.

The home side drew first blood in the 19th minute when Zak Evans sent a diving header past the Wrens Nest keeper from a Liam Edmunds cross.

But Wrens Nest equalised just two minutes later when Kington failed to deal with a free-kick.

Both sides battled hard, but it was Kington who scored again five minutes before half time.

Wrens Nest managed to deal with a Rory Huntbach free-kick, but the ball bounced up towards Callum Craddock, who struck from 10 yards out.

However, the sides went into the break on level terms when Wrens Nest made it 2-2 thanks to an excellent strike.

The away side went ahead for the first time on the hour mark thanks to another unstoppable shot.

But Kington hit back thanks to ace marksman Craddock in the 70th minute before Mayglothling won the match.

Just below Kington in the division are Bromyard Town, who went down 5-0 to fellow strugglers Team Dudley.

Meanwhile, leaders Hereford Lads Club are out of the League Cup after falling to a 2-1 home defeat to Newport Town after extra time.

Dale Richards scored Lads Club's goal.
