THE weather hampered many Herefordshire FA County League fixtures on Saturday, but some games still managed to go ahead.
In the Premier Division, Tenbury United are up to third after beating Fownhope 2-0.
Chris Patton and Aaron Morris scored the goals, which gives Tenbury a slim chance of catching runaway leaders Hinton.
Tenbury are 14 points behind, but have three games in hand.
The only other Premier Division game that took place saw bottom club Pegasus Reserves claim an excellent 2-2 draw at home to Ewyas Harold.
Hereford City are now level with Tenbury Town at the top of Division One after a 4-3 win at bottom club Orleton Colts Reserves.
Dermot Clarke scored two of the goals for Hereford City, with Sean Lamb and Jake Gummery also on target.
Both Hereford City and Tenbury have 34 points, but Tenbury have a game in hand.
Orleton – who have lost all of their 16 games this season – gave a good account of themselves and saw goals scored by Corey Whitticase and Kyle Whitticase.
Elsewhere, goals from Jean Alveraz and Elliott Thomas saw Holme Lacy Reserves beat Weobley 2-1.
