HEREFORD City are now just three points off top spot in Division One of the Herefordshire FA County League after thumping leaders Tenbury Town 4-1.

Sean Lamb was the hero for Chris Marshall's side with a hat-trick, while Ross Morgan was also on target.

Kington Town Reserves are eight points further adrift in third spot following a comfortable 5-1 win against Ewyas Harold Reserves.

Joshua Griffiths netted two of Kington's goals, with the others coming from Russell Jones, Daniel Stack and Sam Thomas.

Wellington Colts, who are fourth, beat Weobley 4-2 thanks to two goals apiece from Richard MacDonald and Peter Wall, while Ludlow Colts hammered Fownhope Reserves 7-1.

Elsewhere, Holme lacy Reserves saw off Orleton Colts Reserves 3-0 and Hinton Reserves and Woofferton shared a 4-4 draw.

Hinton are eight points clear at the top of the Premier Division with three games in hand after seeing off Ewyas Harold 3-1.

Eliot Brody, Rod Haslam and Bradley Matthews scored for Hinton.

Bartestree, who beat Holme Lacy, are second, but have Fownhope breathing down their necks.

Fownhope are three points adrift of Bartestree but have three games in hand.

The villagers saw off bottom club Pegasus Reserves 2-0 last Saturday.

Elsewhere, Tenbury United thrashed Wellington Reserves 7-4 and Orleton Colts overcame Leominster Town 3-2.

Kingstone Rovers are still unbeaten in Division Two following a 5-2 win at Shobdon.

The villagers are five points clear of Burghill, but the latter have a game in hand.

Burghill beat Civil Service 3-0 last Saturday.

Other victors were Dore Valley, who thrashed Hereford City Reserves 10-0, Bartestree Reserves, who beat Leominster Reserves 2-0, and Weston, who saw off Withington 4-2.

Toros and Ross Juniors drew 1-1.
