A HEREFORDSHIRE youngster has beaten off tough competition to be crowned the county’s Under 13 Squash County Champion.
Hereford Cathedral School pupil Jono Perrott was delighted to win the tournament after years of practice.
“It was quite exciting, it was my first tournament in Hereford and it was great fun," he said.
"I would like to take part in the Under-15 championships next.”
Jono, who has been playing squash since he was eight-years-old, also plays hockey and rugby the school and enjoys playing badminton, golf, swimming and tennis.
Hereford Cathedral School has Junior and Senior Open Mornings on November 10 and 12.
