LUCTONIANS have a new main sponsor for the next three seasons.

Securcom, who are based in Cobnash, near Kingsland, specialise in electrical engineering for the poultry industry.

Steve Yarwood, managing director of the firm, has been long standing supporter of Luctonians and sponsored the cricket team and the second XV rugby side last term.

He has now agreed to take on the main sponsorship for the Mortimer Park men.

“We are hugely grateful for the support of all the local businesses who help provide the ongoing sustainability of the club, and the new partnership with Steve and Securcom is another example of how we continue to progress," said Luctonians chairman Simon Whiteman.

"We are very excited about the prospect of Securcom being the main sponsor of Luctonians over the next three seasons and hope that their support will allow us to continue developing sport for all across our local community.”

Lucs are into their seven season in National League 2 North and they bounced back from their home loss against Stourbridge by claiming another win on the road by overcoming Leicester Lions 16-14.

Charlie Grimes scored Lucs' only try of the game, with Louis Silver kicking over the conversion and adding three further penalties.
