HEREFORDSHIRE shooter James Bevis has missed out on a medal at the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games.
The 40-year-old was competing in the R5 Mixed 10m Air Rifle Prone SH2.
But according to the Paralympics website, Bevis did not even finish in the top eight.
The gold medal went to Ukraine's Vasy Kovalchuk, with Geunso Kim of the Republic of Korea claiming silver.
Bronze went to McKenna Dahl of the USA.
It caps a disappointing Paralympic for Bevis, who targeted a gold medal at Rio.
The shooter came away from London 2012 with a bronze in the same event.
Meanwhile, gold medalist Sascha Kindred will be presented with his medal at 10.23pm.
Kindred smashed the world record in the S6 200m individual medley last night in his last ever Paralympic Games.
