Two memorial cricket events are to take place to remember Ed Price
TWO cricket events are to take place in memory of county stalwart Ed Price.
The first is a six-a-side tournament at Brockhampton on Sunday, June 26, with the home team, as well as Burghill, Tillington & Weobley, Colwall, Kington, Herefordshire County Under-15s and an Invitational side all taking part.
A Twenty-20 game will also be held at Kington Cricket Club on Sunday, July 17.
Price was a very notable player for Kington and captained the club when they won the National Village Cricket Club at Lord's in 1993.
He also played for football for Kington Town, Presteigne, Llandrindod, Knighton and the Vale of Arrow.
