WESTFIELDS will be supporting Hereford FC at Wembley this Sunday.

Chief executive Andy Morris said a number of the team will be travelling down.

"Having supported Coalville when they reached the Final from our league in previous years we will be giving Hereford our full support," said Morris.

"Having been to watch Coalville Town several years ago, the atmosphere and support on the day is fantastic and with the following from Hereford I can imagine that the atmosphere at Wembley will be an occasion not to be missed.”

Meanwhile, Reserve team captain Ellis Davey has been added top the Westfields  coaching staff.
The youngster, who has been at Westfields since he was 10, has played throughout the club’s junior and youth teams and more recently has captained the Hereford Premier Division side.

Ellis, who has passed his Level 1 coaching badge, joins the Westfields management staff alongside Paul Boulton and Nobby McBride.

“Ellis has been a true Westfields player from his younger days right the way through junior and youth teams and over the last few years has captained our Hereford Premier Division side," said Morris.

"Due to the fact that Nobby McBride who has managed the side over the last 12 years is not going to be as available as he would like, we have added Ellis to the coaching and management team with Paul Boulton.

"Ellis has proved to be a really loyal Westfields player and, with the new Herefordshire FA County League coming to fruition at the start of this season, we wish to give Ellis a good start with his management and coaching experience.

"He will assist Paul Boulton and Nobby McBride and will also continue to play."
