FOWNHOPE are HFL Clubsport Cup champions.

The village side beat Wellington Rangers 4-2 on penalties in the final at Widemarsh Common after their tie finished 0-0 in 90 minutes.

Meanwhile, hat-tricks from Curtis Williams and Lewis Williams helped Ledbury Town Reserves to a thumping 8-2 win over Civil Service, and with it the Hereford Times Team of the Week award.

Substitutes Charlie Docherty and Tom Skittery added some gloss to the scoreline which kept Ledbury on course for the Herefordshire Football League Division Two title.

Their closest challengers, Hereford City, won 1-0 at Dore Valley while Weobley had a mixed week, beating Civil Service 4-2 over the weekend before suffering a setback by going down 3-1 at Kington Town Reserves three days later.

Holme Lacy Reserves followed up a 2-2 draw with Shobdon on Saturday by coming out on top in their mid-table battle against Kingstone Rovers on Tuesday, winning 4-2.

Kingstone at least secured three points on Saturday beating Burghill 6-1.

Just two games took place in the Premier Division over the weekend with Ewyas Harold thumping Lads Club Reserves 5-1.

Elsewhere, goals from Callum Craddock, Aaron Finch and Alex Hunt helped Pegasus Reserves beat Leominster Town 3-1.

With Division One leaders Holme Lacy not in action, second-placed Sinkums took advantage with a 2-1 success at Hinton Reserves, who three days earlier had won by the same scoreline at Orleton Colts Reserves.

A Cameron McNally hat-trick guided Ewyas Harold Reserves to a dramatic 4-3 win at Woofferton, while Fownhope Reserves and Kingstone Harriers shared four goals in a 2-2 draw, before Fownhope won 1-0 at Ewyas Harold Reserves on Tuesday.
