PEGASUS Juniors went down to two different Wolverhampton teams this week in West Midlands (Regional) League Premier Division.

James Edmonds' side lost 3-2 to Wolverhampton Casuals on Tuesday night, which comes on the back of a 4-2 defeat at Wolverhampton Sporting Community the previous Saturday.

Casuals went into the break 2-0 up thanks to goals from Jay Holcroft and Ian Boswell.

Cory Hyde pulled a goal back for Pegasus after 55 minutes, but four minutes later, Craig Radford increased the home side's advantage.

Liam Taylor then scored for Peggy with 10 minutes to go, but the Hereford side could not force an equaliser.

Pegasus were 2-1 up at Wolverhampton Sporting Community, so will be disappointed to come away with nothing.

After Ethan Delaney put Sporting ahead after nine minutes, Sam Pearson struck twice to put Pegasus in control at half-time.

But Alex Moore equalised after 59 minutes before Josh Sarmeto put the home side ahead.

Dan Westwood sealed the win.

Wellington drew 1-1 with Dudley Sports on Tuesday night thanks to a goal from Matt Williams.

Derek Williams' side – who are in 13th place in the division – went into the game on the back of a 2-0 defeat at leaders Shawbury United.

Bromyard Town sustained two heavy defeats this week.

Nick Smith's struggling side lost 5-1 to Black Country Ranger slast night, which was on the back of a 6-0 hammering at home to AFC Bridgnorth. 

Hereford Lads Club are now firmly in control of being promoted from West Midlands (Regional) League Division One after nearest challengers AFC Ludlow lost both their matches this week.

The Shropshire side were beaten 3-0 at Penncroft on Tuesday night, just three days after surprisingly being thrashed 6-2 at home to Worcester Raiders.

Lads Club also lost last Saturday, going down 1-0 at Darlaston Town.

But they are now a point further ahead of Ludlow after gaining a 2-2 against Worcester Raiders on Tuesday.

Kington Town beat Wyrley 3-1 last Saturday thanks to two goals from Callum Davies and one from Brian Dyer.
