WELLINGTON Reserves lost their first game of the Hereford Times Herefordshire Football League Premier Division season on Tuesday night – going down 6-4 to Pegasus Juniors.

Sam Pearson bagged four of the goals for Peggy – taking his tally to eight goals in three days after netting four for the first team on Saturday.

In the division's other game on Tuesday night, Westfields Reserves drew 2-2 with Lads Club Reserves.

Rich Maturi and Luke Williams scored for Lads Club.

It's been a good week for Westfields, as on Saturday they beat Orleton Colts 3-1 to give themselves a fighting chance of not finishing bottom.

Westfields are five points ahead of Ledbury Town, although Ledbury have four games in hand.

Ledbury were in HFL Clubsport Cup action on Saturday and lost 2-0 to Fownhope.

Holme Lacy are now six points clear at the top of Division One following a convincing 4-0 win at third-placed Woofferton; a victory that earns them this week's team of the week award. Will Ferriday led the way with two goals, with Jean Alveraz and Tom Jenkins also on target.

Holme Lacy's nearest challengers are Sinkums, who have a game in hand.

On Tuesday night, Fownhope Reserves drew 2-2 with Bromyard, while Tenbury Town overcame rivals Orleton Colts Reserves 2-1.

It is very tight at the bottom, with four teams locked on 13 points.

Ewyas Harold Reserves have given themselves a fighting chance rising up the table though following a 4-1 win over Bromyard.

Cameron McNally scored all four goals and Harold have games in hand on all of the sides in and around them.

Hereford City are the new leaders in Division Two following a 3-0 win over Civil Service; Chris Marshall, Juliu Tasca and Steve Hall scoring the goals.

Hereford City are now three points clear of Ledbury Town Reserves, but Ledbury have five games in hand.

Elsewhere, Dore Valley beat Withington 2-0, while Bartestree Reserves and Kingstone Rovers shared a 3-3 draw.
