A FINE win for Weobley at Hereford Times Herefordshire Football League Division Two leaders Ledbury Town Reserves have gained them this week's team of the week award.

Dominic Barnes, Zac Stannard and Jarred Canning netted for the villagers in the 3-1 win, with Curtis Williams replying for Ledbury.

But Ledbury are still odds-on to win the division and have four games in hand on second-placed Hereford City and three on Weobley.

Five of their remaining seven games are also at home.

Elsewhere in Division Two, Dore Valley thrashed Leominster Town Colts 8-1, while Bartestree Reserves hammered Burghill 7-0.

Civil Service also had their scoring boots on – scoring six past a depleted Withington – and Ryan Newton netted twice for Kington Town Reserves in their 3-2 win over Kingstone Rovers. The only Premier Division game that took place was at Orleton, where the Colts overcame Ledbury Town 3-0 – James Byatt (2) and Nathan Hardisty with the goals.

Pegasus Reserves are also through to the final of the HFL Senior Cup following a 5-1 win over Leominster Town.

Jack Lewis and Sam Pearson both scored twice for Peggy, with Harry Meadmore also on target.

Pegasus will face Tenbury United in the final on May 7.

There were also only two games to take place in Division One.

Holme Lacy lead Sinkums by three points at the top of the division and face a big test when they travel to third-placed Woofferton this Saturday.

Woofferton are five points behind Lacy, but have two games in hand and will be looking to close the gap with a much-needed win.

The other game to take place this Saturday is between Ewyas Harold Reserves and Bromyard.

However, a number of teams are in action next Tuesday, including Sinkums.

The Hereford side have a derby at Hinton Reserves.

The big clash in the Premier Division on Tuesday is at Westfields, where the Reserves host rivals Lads Club Reserves.
