KINGTON Town manager Shaun Harris believes naivety is why his team is struggling for form at the moment, but is hopeful that a fully fit squad will lead them back to winning ways in West Midlands (Regional) League Division One.

The Yellows lost 3-2 to St Martins last Saturday and are now 13 points off the top two places, albeit it with games in hand.

"We do not have the strength in depth, so may be the step up is showing," said Harris.

"We are a fairly young side and a bit naive at times, but they are learning and improving all the time.

"The aim was to go up this year, but I'm now looking at a top five or six finish.

"But, We will be really giving it a go next season."

Miles Langford opened the scoring for Kington before St Martins missed a penalty.

However, the Shropshire side levelled before half-time before opening up a two-goal lead.

Nick Evans pulled a goal back for Kington, but St Martins held on for the win.
