HEREFORD professional boxer dean Evans has completed a gruelling six-week training camp ahead of his British challenge belt title fight in Gloucester this Saturday.

Evans will be taking on Andy "Thunder" Harris in a lightweight contest at the GL1 Leisure Centre.

"My training has gone brilliantly well for this fight," said Evans.

"I've had some tough sparring down in Newport with some top lads and I've been in with Gary and Mitch Buckland, Robbie Turley and IBF world champion Lee Selby.

"I've been training three times a week at the Hereford Boxing Academy and in Swindon and Newport at weekends, as well as doing my early morning road work.

"I want to put on a good show and bring the belt back to Hereford.

"If anyone is interested in coming to support me there are still a few seats left to fill on the coach which will be leaving the lads club at 5.30 pm and returning home from Gloucester at 11pm."

Tickets for the fight, which are priced from £35 to £50, are available be calling Dean Evans on 07791 207282 or Neil Gibbons on 07776 191446.

Alternatively, you can collect them from Hereford Boxing Academy on Widemarsh Common from 6.30pm to 9pm either tomorrow night or on Thursday.
