PEGASUS Juniors came back from Bilston Town Community with maximum points - despite being forced into eight changes.

The Old School Lane outfit ran out 4-1 winners in the Black Country thanks to a brace from Jack Lewis and one each from Luke Griffiths and Anthony Robbins.

The win keeps them in eighth place ahead of this Saturday's local derby at home to Bromyard Town.

Pegasus got off to the best possible start when a strike from Lewis deflected into Griffiths' path and he fired the visitors ahead after just two minutes.

Playing into the strong wind caused a few problems for Pegasus but after 15 minutes, a Keanu Barnett free kick reached Griffiths again, but his shot was saved.

At the other end, Bilston should have equalised when a long clearance exposed the Pegasus defence and allowed Naveed Arshad and Ashley Stuart to race clear. However, Nathan Phillips forced the ball away for a corner.

The visitors doubled their lead on 32 minutes when Griffiths found James Hawkins whose cross picked out Lewis on the corner of the six-yard area, and the defender-turned-striker had the relatively easy task of heading home.

In stoppage time the lead was increased when Hereford FC man Max Kontic-Coveney raced to the byline before finding Lewis who finished with a delicate lob.

The second half was more open and Bilston reduced the deficit when Lewis McPike drilled home.

But Pegasus restored their three-goal lead with 20 minutes to go when a Josh Tomkins corner was headed home by Robbins.
