HEREFORD FC are back in action tonight when they face Lye Town at Edgar Street.

The Bulls go into the game on the back of successive 2-1 home wins, with their latest victory coming against Shepshed Dynamo on Saturday.

Hereford are third in the Midland Football League Premier Division table, but could go top tonight - although it could only be briefly.

Heanor Town currently lead the division on 18 points, two points ahead of Hereford.

But if Heanor drop points to struggling Brocton, Pete Beadle's men will go top if they win their match.

However, second-placed Long Eaton United, who will have four games in hand of Hereford after tonight's game, play tomorrow.

Westfields, meanwhile, are in HFA County Challenge Cup duty tonight when they entertain Fownhope, while Pegasus Juniors, fresh from beating Bromyard Town 7-1 at the weekend, go to Gornal Athletic in the West Midlands (Regional) League Premier Division.

We will be providing live updates from Edgar Street, so be sure to follow us throughout the evening if you cannot make the match.

Kick-off is 7.45pm.
