FOWNHOPE Reserves are this week's Hereford Times Herefordshire Football League team of the week after they claimed an excellent 2-1 away win at previously unbeaten Division One side Woofferton.

Finn Myers and Marlon Ransome grabbed Fownhope's goals, with Woofferton's reply coming from Marian Jusko.

It was Fownhope's first win of the season having lost their opening three games, while Woofferton went into the game with a 100% record.

The Blues still lead the division though, who points ahead of Holme Lacy, who earned a 2-2 draw at Belmont Wanderers.

Will Ferriday and Mark Davies were on target for Lacy, with Adam Webb scoring a brace for Belmont.

Orleton Colts Reserves are third thanks to a comprehensive 5-0 win against Ewyas Harold Reserves, while Declan Bright scored a hat-trick for Tenbury in their 8-1 thrashing against Tupsley.

Kingstone Harriers earned their first win of the season thanks to a 3-1 win against Bromyard; Owen Jenkins scoring twice.

Tenbury United still leas the way in the Premier Division after two goals each from Ian Patterson and Dan Gittens saw them claim a 4-3 away win at Ewyas Harold.

Rory Worthing scored twice for Harold, with Will Lindesay also on target.

With other teams on cup duty, the only other league match that took place was between Ledbury Town and Lads Club Reserves.

The match was switched to Widemarsh Common due to Ledbury's ongoing problems at New Street and ended in a nine-goal thriller.

Jordan Burke, Rhys Davies, Clive Symonds, Aaron Turner and George Worswick were all on target for Lads Club, while Ledbury's scorers were Dan Herbert, Gavin Hodgkins and Patrick Morgan (2).

Hereford City are on point clear at the top of Division Two after goals from Sean Blackwell, Jake Gummery (20 and Luke Payne helped them to a 4-0 win over Burghill.

Leominster Town Colts, Holme Lacy Reserves and Civil Service all have six points.

Leominster beat Weobley 3-1, while Holme Lacy Reserves came away from Shobdon with a 4-2 win.

Civil Service beat Withington 1-0 in the HFA Junior Cup.
