TEN-man Wellington fought back to earn an excellent 2-1 win at Black Country Rangers that takes them up to third in the West Midlands (Regional) League Premier Division table.

Outfield player Steve Brotherwood had to go in goal after Cris Mancui was sent off for bringing down a Black Country player in the box.

The resulting penalty was duly dispatched with six minutes of the first half to go.

Prior to that, Welly only had half chances with Brotherwood and Josh Hunt only getting half chances.

But they equalised on the stroke of half-time when a great header from Hunt from a Will Perkins free-kick.

Wellington then dealt with everything the home side could throw at them and went in front with 15 minutes left thanks to a fine free-kick from Perkins.

Brotherwood then made two great saves to keep Derek Williams' side in the game and secure the away win.

A solitary goal from Chris Mortlock was all Pegasus Juniors could show for their efforts at Dudley Town as they went down to a 2-1 defeat.

Rio Francis-Mills opened the scoring for Dudley in the 15th minute before he doubled the advantage just two minutes later.

Mortlock pulled a goal back with six minutes of the game remaining, but Peggy couldn't muster an equaliser.

Bromyard Town, meanwhile, drew 3-3 with Cradley Town.
